After You've Gone - Arrangement for Big Band
I wrote this arrangement as my Capstone project in my final class in the Berklee Contemporary Writing and Production major. I wanted to build on my skills as a jazz arranger and push myself by working on a large production. It was also a goal of mine to work with a lot of the same talented performers I had gotten to work with on past projects. This was recorded in multiple sessions at Berklee. One in Studio B, and then several individual horn sessions in the CWP Production Suites. This recording features:

EJ Jean on Lead Vocals
Thomas Hasselburger on Alto/Tenor/Bari Sax
Garrett De Rudder on Trumpet
Nick Rozzell on Trombone
Dzidzor Amorin on Piano
Hazel Royer on Bass
Quinten Cohen on Drums

"After You've Gone" was originally composed by Turner Layton in 1918.
Darkness and Light - for Orchestra
This is an arrangement I wrote for one of the several orchestration classes I took at Berklee. It's a medley of themes originally composed by Yoko Shimomura for the "Kingdom Hearts" video game franchise. This arrangement was recorded at Futura Productions in Roslindale, MA in December of 2021.
Simple and Clean
This arrangement was one I had wanted to make for a very long time. The original "Simple and Clean" by Hikaru Utada was the song that played with the opening movie of one of my favorite childhood video games: Kingdom Hearts. I created this arrangement for my Advanced Ensemble Writing class at Berklee in the Spring of 2021. The production was entirely remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The recording features:

EJ Jean on Lead/Background Vocals
Garrett De Rudder on Trumpet
Thomas Hasselburger on Alto/Tenor/Bari Sax
Nick Rozzell on Trombone
Miguel Chavez on Guitar
Dzidzor Amorin on Piano
Cole Vakassian (myself) on Bass
Calder Adkins on Drums
